BB Glow

How does it work?
The BB serum, which contains anti-aging compounds, antioxidants, and vitamins, is securely applied to the uppermost layer of the skin by a special Derma Pen that uses nano needling technology, giving the skin a natural glow that lasts. The BB Glow treatment is suitable for all skin types, including normal, sun-damaged, dry, oily, and pigmented skin. It is also suitable for both men and women, regardless of their age or ethnicity. The BB Glow derma white ampoules are available in five various shades to suit all skin tones.

Is BB Glow treatment safe?
If high-quality materials and sterile tools are used, and the treatment is performed by a skilled professional, BB Glow treatment is completely safe, even in long-term applications. Because the micro needling method prevents needles from going too far into the skin, there is no risk of skin injury. The operation is generally painless, however there may be some tingling and stiffness in the skin. Also the BB Serums are free of Alcohol, allergens, benzophenone, perfumes, formaldehyde, parabens, mineral oils, and synthetic colouring.
Possible side effects are very rare and minor, however on rare occasions they can occur, these may include pain, redness, or infection. A test patch is required 24 hours before your BB Glow treatment.
What to expect?
Depending on the client’s skin type, each application takes roughly 1,5 to 2 hours. A one to one consultation is necessary to ensure your BB Glow treatment plan is tailored to suit your individual skin. Firstly all necessary paperwork and concerns will be discussed and completed as well as a patch test which is required to be done 24 hours prior to the treatment. Then on the day of your treatment, the closest shade of BB glow will be produced this is usually done by combining two to three BB glow shades together to get the unique colour for each of our clients. With a specially created Derma Pen, the BB Glow cream is nano-needled into the top layer of the skin. The pace and depth of the needles can be changed based on the area of skin being treated. As seen in the illustration below, the under-eye area requires a much shallower depth of 0.25 mm compared to the jaw line, which requires a depth of up to 1.5 mm.
After you’ve had your BB Glow treatment, you should take a few actions to ensure that the treatment is as effective as possible and lasts as long as possible.
- For a minimum of 24 hours, avoid vigorous facial cleaning.
- For a minimum of 12 hours, do not touch your skin.
- 5 days without using make-up or peeling your skin
- No swimming for 7 days
- Sunbathing, saunas, and sun beds are not allowed for 14 days.
How many Treatments are needed?
The treatment’s results are unique to each person and may differ depending on skin type and post-treatment aftercare. Immediately after the initial procedure, you can notice the results. The BB serum, on the other hand, has a cumulative effect, meaning that it accumulates under the skin with each treatment. To achieve the most long-lasting outcomes, a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 10 to 14 days apart is recommended this will be discussed in your initial consultation.
