What to expect?
Here at Selina’s we concentrate and listen to each individual clients personal concerns and goals. Therefore you will receive a personalised Profound treatment consultation prior to your therapy to determine your target area and realistic results from your treatment.
On the day, a local anaesthetic may be used to help you relax and reduce any pain or discomfort.
The Profound system handpiece will then be used to send energy pulses to the treatment areas. These pulses will reach your skin’s deep layers, where energy delivery is most effective. This energy breaks down tissue to activate your body’s natural healing process, stimulating your body to produce new elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid to rejuvenate the skin and build new, healthy tissue.
The procedure usually takes one hour but this can vary depending on the treatment area.
How many treatments are needed?
